Palin Supports Federal Amendment to Ban “Gay” Marriage

Ooh, color me shocked.  How nice of her to “tolerate” us though.  From www.msnbc.com

“NEW YORK – Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin says she supports a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, a break with John McCain who has said he believes states should be left to define what marriage is.

In an interview with Christian Broadcasting Network, the Alaska governor said she had voted in 1998 for a state amendment banning same sex marriage and hoped to see a federal ban on such unions.

“I have voted along with the vast majority of Alaskans who had the opportunity to vote to amend our Constitution defining marriage as between one man and one woman. I wish on a federal level that’s where we would go. I don’t support gay marriage,” Palin said. She said she believed traditional marriage is the foundation for strong families.”

Sarah, you’re just an idiot.  I’m sorry, but I don’t and won’t tolerate you and your moronic notions of what YOU think is right or wrong or what constitutes a “strong family.”  I want to stop hearing that opposite sex families automatically make strong family units, because that’s just not the truth.  I want you to stand up and say to the faces of hundreds of thousands of same sex families, with or without children, that our families are “weak families.”  Please, for the love of your God, do this.  Look at a gay couple who adopted or fostered and tell them…to their face…that their family is not a strong one.  Tell them, they don’t count in America.  Tell them that you’ll take their tax money, but you won’t stand up and say “Good job, thank you for giving unwanted children a home.”  Go ahead you idiot.  Do it.  I dare you.  Go tell those kids that their moms and dads aren’t good enough, tell those kids that their families are worth less in your eyes.  You make me sick.

Do I think you’re a sanctimonious idiot?  You betcha.
